If you are currently enrolled in a college or university and are between the ages of 18-24 send us your pic! If we like what we see, we'll give you $10,000. to blow on whatever you want. And unlike mom and dad, we don't care if you get good grades or not. We do ask that you appear in one of our movies and are willing to do "Playboy style" nudity. Eligibility:
Shane's World promotion is offered and open only to legal residents of United States who are females between the ages of 18-24 at the time of entry and currently enrolled in a college or university. Employees and directors of Shane Enterprises, affiliated and subsidiary companies, advertising and promotion agencies, judges and legal advisors, and the immediate family or members of the households of such employees and directors are not eligible. By entering, you agree to the Official Rules and the decisions of Shane Enterprises, which are final and binding in all respects. Promotion not open to residents of Arizona. Void where prohibited by law. No purchase necessary.
Promotional Period:
The promotion runs from February 15, 2005 until August 1st 2005 (extended) at 11:59:59 p.m. EST. Shane Enterprises, LLC reserves the right to terminate the promotion by giving 72 hours notice on the website.
Entry:
There are two ways to enter: Internet Method and the Mail-In Method.
Internet Method: Email us a non-nude photo of yourself, along with your name, age, university that you are currently attending and a phone number that you can be reached at. Selection:
One Grand Prize winner may be selected at the sole discretion of Shane Enterprises from all eligible entries received, provided that there is someone deemed by Shane Enterprises hot enough to be the "Shane's World College Hottie of 2005" and she is willing to fulfill her duties as the winner. Duties will include, appearing in a Shane's World production, Playboy style nudity (for both video and print) and availability for promotional appearances. The Grand Prize will be paid in two lump sums of $5,000. over a three month period.
Five Second Prize winners will received an Apple IPOD mini.
Consideration:
In consideration for $10,000 in prize money, winner agrees to grant Shane Enterprises, LLC all rights of every kind whatsoever, whether known or unknown, exclusively and perpetually to use the submitted photograph along with any photo/video images or voice recordings taken during the promotion.
Any taxes due are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Limitations of Liability:
In no event will Shane Enterprises, affiliates, subsidiaries and related companies, their advertising or promotion agencies or their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents, be responsible or liable for any damages or losses of any kind, including direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising out of your participation in the promotion, access to and use of the internet site, www.shanesworld.com or the downloading from and/or printing material downloaded from said site. Shane Enterprises also reserves the right not to choose a winner if they feel that there are no worthy applicants.
Arbitration and Disputes:
As a condition of participating in this contest, participant agrees that any and all disputes which cannot be resolved between the parties, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Promotion, or any prizes awarded, or the determination of winners shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action exclusively by arbitration pursuant to the commercial arbitration rules of the American Arbitration Association, then effective. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances will participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental or consequential damages, or any other damages, including attorneys' fees, other than participant's actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e., costs associated with entering this Promotion), and participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of participant and Sponsor in connection with this Promotion, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of California, U.S.A., without giving effect to the conflict of laws rules thereof, and all proceedings shall take place in that State in the City of Los Angeles, County of Los Angeles.
